Isn’t it just as easy to cling to ideas like nothing haeepnpd and there is no awakening ?I still think that even though one may realizing up awakening that everything has always been the way it is, and that there is no duality, etc. etc., there was a time when this wasn’t seen clearly, and then a time when it was. To say that there’s no difference in experience between the two seems disingenuous.It’s like the philosophical Pluralist who berates the holders of other philosophical positions for maintaining there point of view is the best. The Pluralist holds it over them that no philosophy is better than any other, and that anyone who thinks otherwise is wrong? It doesn’t hold up, does it?

    2. Ideas are easy, letting go of them is difficult.. Nisargadatta .. there is also the zen saying before realization one chops wood and carries water and after realization one still chops wood and carries water..

      I guess the question is was Krishnamurti enlightened… because if he was, he is pointing a way forward, .. and if he was not, as I suspect, his ideas are just that… ideas… though the question is useless because, regardless of his state his ideas are obstacles to the truth.. as according to nisargadatta they must be dropped..

      1. -if you understood Nisargadatta or zen etc you would realize everything is one, there is no enlightenment there is no non-enlightenment

      3. Reading this comment in 2023, Krishnamurti himself stated that the teacher himself is unimportant only his teaching is. So, it is absolutely irrelevant to ask whether the teacher is Enlightened or not. The fact is it is 2023 and his teachings are still relevant. It will be 2050 and his teachings will still be relevant. One has to look for himself to break open from within. All these will eventually turn into an idea only if the mind is caught up in the becoming.
