OSHO Reminding Yourself of the Forgotten Language of Talking to Your BodyMind

Restoring wholeness and inner harmony

In the natural state of wellbeing, the body and mind function as a harmonious unity, but we have become split from the body – treating it as a sort of machine and completely ignoring the messages it sends us through the subconscious. As a result, blockages and repetitive patterns develop in the flow of energy in the subconscious and its messages become distorted.

Getting to the roots of your issues

Many of our psychological and physical issues have their roots in the subconscious. Any attempt to deal with these issues at the conscious level is difficult, if not impossible, because the root cause of the problems remains unresolved. We may use discipline to force behavioral change or take a pill to cure an ailment, but the underlying disturbance in the energy flow will only find a new way of manifesting.
Osho quotes the radical renaissance physician and alchemist Paracelsus:
“Until the state of your inner harmony is known, at best, you can only be released from your illness, because the source of your health is your inner harmony. So, because nothing has been done about your inner harmony, when you are released from one illness you will immediately get another. Your inner harmony has to be supported.”

Learning to hear the messages of the body

This guided process uses a light trance combining deep relaxation with alertness. This allows the communication within your bodymind to be restored, giving you an opportunity to experience the language of your subconscious mind and recognize it in your daily life.
Once you honor your body’s innate wisdom by allowing yourself to hear its messages, a profound shift occurs – you fall into a harmonious unity with your body. Healthy life choices occur spontaneously as an integral part of this harmony.
