Inspired by the salons of the Enlightenment which were gatherings to discuss truth and life as they saw it.
Here we will gather and commune with the words from those who have known that which cannot be said. You will find words from those in whom the greatest transformation has taken place. Although you can find differences in expressions, it is remarkable how much you will find in common.
It is my interest to look where they are pointing and occasionally explore their unique observations. I hope you find them inspirational, inviting, instructive and ultimately Enlightening. At the bottom of this page, you will find a list of some particularly good books and also a list of many downloadable books.
On the top of the page, I have added tabs to some of those beings who have had the greatest impact on my own journey. Their words can only point us to the truth. But in order to live a life of truth it is necessary for each of us to make the inquiry individually for ourselves into our own Being and finally into the mystery of non-Being.
“All beings are from the very beginning Buddhas.” -Hakuin’s Song of Meditation
From Lemurs to Lamas: Confessions of a Bodhisattva is my collection of essays, stories and poems gathered along the Way.

Dear PremG
Can we get more of Jean Klein`s works, posted ?
AS his works are less available by hard or soft copies in the web too, this kind request.
Thanks for the great work you are doing.
I am reading most of the posts – regularly – a cosmic connection – what else can I say – another cosmic server 🙂 -meaning all of us individually – linked.
Love

The Power of Emptiness
The mind is completely silent, we are attentive – a clear consciousness, / All meanings, boundaries disappear – us and the Infinite are “One”; / Practically, we have a new mind – always fresh. / Being in the pause – I become infinite! / It separates two worlds. I leave the limited world / And enter Boundlessness, through total melting; / The whole being is calm – a constant sparkle. / There is no time, no space – just everlasting Eternity; / I move in direct contact with life, in a permanent present.

Thank you Purushottama for creating this place where that which is beyond words is almost tangible! It’s as if the space of presence is outlined.

I just found your site when looking up Vigyan Bhairava from the back of the book Zen Flesh, Zen Bones. It said the reading Centering was 4000 years old. I feel I have found an enormous treasure in your website. I am an American female Soto Zen Buddhist monk. Thank you!
